Batsford Arboretum is part of The Batsford Foundation, a registered charity. If you’re a UK taxpayer, choosing the Gift Aid admission price includes a voluntary 10% donation, allowing us to claim additional Gift Aid to support the care and conservation of the arboretum.
Prefer not to make a donation? Simply choose the standard admission price.

Pre-booking isn’t essential, but we recommend booking online during busy periods to help reduce queueing on arrival.
Your confirmation email contains a barcode to show at the Admissions Desk. If you can’t find your confirmation email, don’t worry — simply give your name on arrival.

Mon–Sat: 9.30am–5pm
Sun: 10am–5pm
(Last arboretum admission: 4pm daily)
Dogs
Well-behaved dogs are welcome throughout Batsford on short, fixed leads (extendable leads are not permitted, including in the arboretum). We have a limited number of short leads available to exchange at the admissions desk if needed.
Free Visitor Centre entry
The Café, Garden Centre & Gift Shop situated within the visitor centre are completely free to enter. The only part of Batsford you have to pay to go into is the arboretum.
RHS Members
RHS Main Member (Member 1) cardholders receive free arboretum entry except during October and November – standard admission rates apply during these months.
Visitors with Disabilities
Visitors with a disability are not charged an admission fee to enter the arboretum. Please see our access page for further information.
