Information for the Disabled

Within the cark park disabled parking bays are as close as possible to the arboretum entrance.

Wheelchair access is via a level tarmac road which continue through the arboretum with plantings on either side.

Further paths are gravel, are reasonably level to the lake but rise up hill more steeply to the higher parts of the arboretum. Because of this we do not charge for wheelchair users.

A wheelchair is available. It is advisable to book, especially at busy periods.

Disabled toilets can be reached within the Garden Centre, on the same level as the Applestore Tearoom.
