Batsford Arboretum Schools Info
The arboretum consists of a variety of habitats with a huge and fascinating collection of plants from around the world. This makes it a wonderful resource for schools within the counties of Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Hereford & Worcester.
We now have an education officer to help with school visits and lead children on a variety of trails around the arboretum. In the Summer term TV’s Mr. Rotavator will take the children on a ‘Nature Day’ tailored to the schools requirements and/or the national curriculum. Please contact us for further details.
Guided tours are available by a member of staff and can be tailored to suit the requirements of a specialist group at a fee of £2.00 per person (minimum charge of £25).
